BBC writer Michelle Warwicker reports on science published in the journal Animal Behavior, in which Leah J. Williams of Liverpool John Moores University and colleagues “hypothesize that discrete colour polymorphism can reflect personality… in a social bird, the Gouldian finch.”

Pretty neato, huh?
